Last week, members of DPA attended a special, closed door session of the Army Open House 2017.
Our members spent the day with our service men and women, and had an absolute blast getting up close and personal with the various army technologies.
The Singapore Army Open House was held at the F1 Pit Building, and held its closed door sessions for various schools, NGOs and organisations to learn more about why military defence and civic consciousness is so important for Singapore. Alongside the static displays, the SAF also had exciting dynamic displays of the Terrex ICV, LSV Mark II, and Peacekeeper PRVs. While our members weren’t able to take part in the joyrides, they definitely had an amazing time mingling with the soldiers.
DPA would also like to thank the SAF Open House Organising Committee for their teamwork and dedication throughout the day. Our members weren’t left wanting and managed to enjoy thanks to the support of the soldiers.
While the rain dampened the later part of the day, the sun quickly shone through, and activities resumed. DPA definitely looks forward to future events with our armed forces!
